About me
My name is Hamish maxwell, an amateur wildlife photographer, and from a farm cottage south of Glasgow, in the countryside but near the edges of suburbia I walk the local farmland and woodlands tracking and photographing wildlife and nature, sometimes venturing further afield, I love the outdoors, for me being outdoors is a way I can get away from everything in life that has gotten so fast paced crazy and modern and just enjoy the solitude and the changing seasons, embrace nature and all it has to offer and above all relax, my passion for wildlife photography has grown since I started in January 2023 and in this website I want to share my photographic experiences with you and show what a fascinating and beautiful bit of the world we live in by blogs and vlogs of my days out with my camera, I hope you enjoy it.
For me there can be no better feeling than spending time in nature and capturing a moment in time, when you see an animal going about its life and you capture just a second of it, not only does it give you a photo of the event but a memory that will stay with you.
